Cookie policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This page lists what we store in your browser when you visit lumias.studio, what each item does, and how to change your mind. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary items is stored until you agree.
Introduction
The site is run by Lumias SIA ("Lumias", "we", "us", "our"). This policy covers the lumias.studio website only; the CalcuCare application has its own cookie policy. Please read it together with our Privacy policy.
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device. We also use browser storage, such as localStorage, which works in a similar way but is not technically a cookie. We list both here, because both can affect your privacy in the same way.
How consent works
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept functional and analytics cookies. Until you choose, we set only the strictly necessary items listed below. Strictly necessary items cannot be switched off, because the site cannot work without them.
Strictly necessary
These items are always set. They need no consent, because each one delivers something you asked for, and none is used for tracking or advertising.
| Name | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| lumias-consent | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. | 12 months |
| lumias-locale | Remembers the language you chose, so the root address sends you to the right version. | 12 months |
| lumias-scroll-anchor | Keeps your place on the page when you switch language, so you land on the same section. Stored for the current browser tab only, removed as soon as the next page reads it, and never sent to our servers. | Up to 15 seconds |
| lumias-theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Stored in your browser only and never sent to our servers. | Until you clear it |
Functional
Functional items remember interface preferences, such as a partly completed contact form, so you do not have to start over. They are set only if you accept functional cookies.
| Name | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| lumias-contact-draft | Keeps a partly completed contact form. | 7 days |
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC, acting as our processor) to collect page and section statistics, such as pages viewed, visit length and device or browser type. Your IP address is shortened before it is used for analytics. They tell us which parts of the site answer questions and which do not. They are set only if you accept analytics cookies.
| Name | Provided by | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics cookies (commonly _ga and _gid) | Google LLC | Up to 14 months |
The exact set of cookies is controlled by Google's tag and may change without any action on our part.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media cookies on lumias.studio. No item listed here is used to recognize you across other websites or across your devices.
Changing your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time to accept or withdraw functional or analytics cookies. Withdrawing is as easy as accepting, and it does not affect anything stored before you changed your mind.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which resets the banner. Blocking or deleting the strictly necessary items may stop the site from remembering your language, theme or cookie choice.
